I am honored to have been asked to contribute to the first GLOBART talk in the Vienna Secession on November 11, 2014. GLOBART is a modern THINK TANK, a transparent and independent platform that works on bringing together interdisciplinary innovators for discussion forums, talks, and workshops.
In their own words: Multidisciplinarity signifies discussing all aspects of a question from a variety of angles. For this reason GLOBART invites not only representatives from different disciplines, but also visionaries and implementers. By combining all views in a final synopsis, we are able to create sustainable solutions. We inspire people to promote a cultural dialogue in commerce, science, arts and politics for a sustainable society.

I was asked to contribute to the documentary ‘Die Akte Galilei’ which discusses the relationship of science and faith using the example of Galileo Galilei. The film was directed by Fritz Kalteis of metafilm and produced by Florian Brandt. It was first shown on ORF in February 2014 as part of a weekly series of documentaries, ‘Kreuz und Quer’ before being broadcast on various channels worldwide. With metafilm’s permission, here I am showing a clip that includes my contributions (in German).
The GLOBART TALKS are a multidisciplinary series of talks/panel discussions in which ideas for a successful life will be presented and discussed. Artists, philosophers, designers and ecologists from all over the world ponder the idea of how a “proper life” could actually look like in the future.
In order of appearance, guests invited to talk with Friedrich von Borries were astronaut Franz Viehböck, myself, architect Manuel Herz and designer and architect Van Bo Le-Mentzel.
Two Globart Talks are organized as part of the exhibition “Our Place in Space. Astronomie & Kunst im Dialog” that I curated in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, Globart and ESA. These two evening events showcase several fantastic artists and scientists, their thoughts and contributions to Art/Science.

This past February, Cinemark Colombia has shown a short documentary about my work and participation
in the Cerebro Cientifico colloquium. It was shown nationwide following the parameters of the Comobian Ministry of Culture. What an honor!
Beautiful summary video of working in Colombia: lots of laughter and joy with young and old from very diverse backgrounds.
